In chapter three, we saw that God did not establish a monetary system in the Garden of Eden. As the owner of the earth and all that is in it, He never intended humanity to be ruled by pieces of coloured paper marked with numbers, nor by coins bearing hidden effigies, because human lives were not meant to be measured in symbols of monetary value.
